Because, you know, these aren't my usual hours," as the second lock comes open, and the doorknob turns under his hand, "but I'm always happy to make an exception for --"
He steps through the opening door, turns, and slams it back as hard as he can. Lock both locks plus the deadbolt and the chain, that should hold long enough for a quick pass for his cash and his best-loved valuables, then out by way of the fire escape if his erstwhile boss hasn't already got people waiting below --
